How to download Latest Apple's iOS 10

Updates include a new and improved Siri

and the chance to remove the stocks app

During previous releases, the update
has started rolling out at around 6pm
in the respective time zones but this
year, Apple is expected to begin the
process sooner.

As well as an ability to remove pre-
installed stock apps, Apple has also
introduced a universal clipboard and
'raise to wake', a feature that wakes
an iPhone when it's taken out a
pocket or lifted from a desk.

Siri has also been updated to improve
image searches, transcribe voicemails
and write text messages. Apple is
opening up Siri to developers, too.

What's new in iOS
10?

When it unveiled the new iOS at its
June developer conference, Apple said
it was one of the biggest updates to its
mobile operating system in its history.

With it, the company is betting big on
artificial intelligence: photos, maps,
and the keyboard are being made
more intelligent with baked-in deep
learning.

iOS 10 will also come with, for the first
time, the ability to delete Apple's
default applications – meaning Stocks,
iBooks, iCloud and more don't have to
clog-up precious homepage space. The
update also sees a redesigned Apple
News and Apple Music apps, bigger
emoji, and a bedtime alarm.

PREPARE YOUR IPHONE FOR THE
NEW IOS UPDATE

Back up
Back up your iPhone to iCloud –
ensure your images and music are
added to your cloud storage to ensure
you don’t lose them in the update.

Using iCloud
Connect your device to a Wi-Fi
network. Access iCloud in the settings
app. Scroll down to Backup and select
the option to ‘Back Up Now’.

Clear some space
After using iCloud, make way for the
new update by clearing some memory
space. The final public beta update
was 1.7GB so this may be the
amount of room needed on an iPhone
to get iOS 10.
