Updates on Available & Cheap Satellite Tv Solutions – Nov / Dec

This article is going to be very huge and comprehensive. As usual. If i were you, i will take the pains to read everything before making my decision. This update will cover November and early december unless any major event happens in between. Things can only get better between this period. I will be starting with qsat which happens to be the one and only dongle that still has the potential to decrypt canalsat and dst* channel. Then I will proceed to other numerous alternatives that are cheaper than dst*(some are even better than dst*)

CURRENT STATUS OF QSAT ON DST* & CANALSAT

I believe qsat team is up to something. For the past three weeks or more, spycam server has been totally shutdown while avatarcam server is working with abject instability. We all know that, once or current avatarcam / acam code expires, we will be forced to renew our decoder with spycam code which happens to be the only code qsat team now sell for dst* and canalsat unscrambling. But for reasons best known to qsat team, they have totally shutdown spycam server to the extend that new users cannot renew their expire decoders(you will receive a data error message) and existing user cannot watch anything on their decoder(you will receive cannot connect to server after successful network connection)

As it stands, if you already bought a new qsat code and you are receiving a “data error message” please keep your code safe until qsat is fully back. Similarly, if you are using already loaded spycam account and you cannot watch any dst* or canal channel, you are not alone. Patience is the key

As at today 15 of November, 2015, only telemundo is working on avatarcam code and once your avartacam code expires, you will have no choice than to buy a spycam code(which of course is currently dead). I think qsat team wants to merge this thing once and for all and while at it, they want to avoid attack on their spycam server by dst*. I have a strong believe that spycam will work fine again since it was shutdown by the team.

HOW THEN CAN I WATCH ANY SCRAMBLED CHANNELS ON MY QSAT?

To watch scrambled channels on your qsat,you can use three method;

Via qsat dqcam account for hotbird: this account requires the biggest dish you can afford which should be a minimum of 3 meter dish and dqcam code only works on qsat q11g, q13g and q16. Learn more about dqcam here
Another method is via powervu; this powervu software only works on two models of qsat decoders for now and they are qsat q28g and qsat q26g. Unfortunately, you cannot manually add powervu keys on qsat decoders as it works automatically with powervu channels that doesn’t change their keys. Via Qsat dqiptv; qsat dqiptv code works on all models of qsat but you need highspeed internet and you must be awar that iptv technology consumes a lot of data. Besides, qsat iptv solution is like an extra because it is not as stable as what you can get on dedicated iptv solutions out there. You can learn more about qsat iptv here. and remember that channels come and go on the account without notification. sometimes, all movies maybe off, at times all sports maybe off, other times it may buffer for just no reasons. by and large, it is tolerable because of its cheap price.

The major strengths of qsat engineers is in opening dst* and canalsat channels. every other solutions is merely to appease their subscribers while they find solutions to dst* and canalsat problems. This is the main reasons while their powervu software is totally free and limited to just two models, their iptv solution is not top notch and their dqcam is for just three models. The key is for us to wait for full qsat recovery while we look fr other alternatives in the meantime. Such alternatives will be discussed below.

Cheap Alternatives to watch premium Channels!!

IPTV SOLUTIONS:

I will arrange this in an order of convenience and qantity of sports and movie channels since that is the major reasons why we all shy away from local satellite providers like bein, canal and dst*. The best and the most reliable solution to watch scrambled channels is IPTV SOLUTION. Iptv however has its strengths and weaknesses. Iptv strength is tha, you do not need a dish to use it, and you can also get channels that a dish cannot get in your location. Also, iptv is capable of giving you sports and movies channels that your local satellite tv company cannot give you. On the low side(restricted to only Africa and some Asia countries) iptv technology is not fully internalized into Africa culture due to high cost of Internet data subscription as well as nonavailability of high-speed internet where needed. In Nigeria, there are ways of minimizing your data cost. some of these methods has been posted here and here Does all iptv packages work alike? The answer is no, some iptv solutions are better than others below are some iptv solutions available for Africans arranged in other of priorities.

Ancloud p5 android media iptv box I give this a score of 100% in terms of stability and reliabilty as well as versatility and functionality not undermining performance. This is a full dedicated android premium media box. No wonder it is the most expensive to acquire initially. you can learn more about this beast in small housing here, here or here. It is only the initial cost that is somewhat hge, after acquiring it, you can choose to continue using the premium account or use xbmc / kodi free account on it. you may even choose to use your mobile phone live streaming app on ancloud. But you must know that, the reason why ancloud is first of its kind is because of its premium homlive account.
Coming second is any device that runs kodi / xbmc; ancloud is one of such devices that runs kodi xbmc. kodi is totally free to use as long as you can do the troubles of getting the required addons for it.
Coming after this is SRT GSHD decoders; their iptv package is pretty decent and you have to renew your subscription yearly to continue enjoying it. I give the performance of the iptv on gshd decoders 70%.
Qsat dqiptv i already talked about this and i give it a rating score of 45% to 50%. This is the cheapest premium iptv solution that i have ever seen.
mobile sports iptv apps on android; I give this totally free(except that you are forced to view advertisement while streaming) 60% because it is restricted to android phones and sometimes channels are off. Same apples to url live sports streaming on computers rated 55%.

SKS / IKS SOLUTIONS OTHER THAN DST* & CANALSAT

Like i said above, my arrangement is based mainly on the convenience of using all this solutions not the price. The price idea is such that, they are definitely cheaper than dst* premium subscription if they are not cheaper than dst* premium subscription, i wont discus them here:

Champion TV Decoder: Champion tv team has its link to Ghana in west africa, Their package / channels list are just four channels namely Toptv 2(movie channel), Mbc(movie), Champion tv (their one and only dedicated sport channel), redlight tv(their one and only pornography channel). Champion tv has its strength and weaknesses; he strength is that, once you buy their decoder, you can use the small dst* size dish to track their channels anywhere in Africa. secondly, you do not need any internet subscription to decrypt teir channels. On the low side; champion tv decoder is expensive considering the facts that you can only watch 4 channels. secondly they can be sometimes unreliable showing matches than are unimportant at when the important once are their. In like fashion, SRT GSHD decoders tends to open champion tv channels. However, you must be aware that the end has come for manual inputting of biss keys and powervu keys because the owners of the channels have devised a means of changing this keys every hour. if you must watch channels that can be opened by bis keys or powervu keys, please buy a decoder that can open and calculate this keys automatically. e.g gsky series is the best for auto powrervu function while currently gshd decoder opens champion tv

Gsky and Hotbird, astra and sky net packages: what comes after this is gsky v6 decoder. the strength is in its multiple packages and still adding. while the only weakness is the fact that you need a big dish of at least 1.8meters wide(1.8meter is same as 186cm) please learn more about this powerful machine here.

Tlink / microbox / red tiger hotbird package: Before the advent of gsky series, tlink gshare account used to be the undisputed king of Hotbird. Just like gsky, you need a big dish to be able to track hotbird channels.

Europenan cccam: This cccam account just like gsky, supports multiple packages in asia and europe. such packages include; hotbird, canal reunion, zap, hipasat….the only downside of any cccam is that, you can be banned if you abuse the account. Learn more about European cccam here.

CTL official decoder for south southern Nigeria: This solution has a low rating for two reasons, 1. it does not even covers the whole of Nigeria, 2. it is not available to africa as a whole. to learn more about ctl and its channels list, please read this

POWERVU SOLUTION

Are you confused about powervu technology? please read this article first. powervu is like biss keys unscrambling method. I mean the channels are encrypted with a powevu dual keys. but some decoders can unscamble these channels without having to manually input the keys. In fact searching for and entering keys into decoders especially sports hd 24 keys is now gradually losing its flavor because the satellite owners now change keys every 1 hour. meaning you may need to find five keys per day. All these keys are not easy to get. God so good, some decoder =s now opens the channels automatically by reading and applying the keys in teh background without the knowledge of the users. I will list such powervu auto update decoder in order of priority. You should also be aware that the hottest pacage on powervu for Africa is mtnworldwide package on nss 20w / nss 12w cband which contains the master-blaster sport channel by the name “sports HD 24” This sports channel requires the least dish size to open and the keys are often changed because of its popularity which makes local satellite operators like dstv to report unauthorized users to the owners of the package.

Gsky v6 and V3 the best powervu decoder with the most powervu channels and the strongest powervu auto update software
Azplay: also has auto update but most of the time you will need to download a new software when the keys have been changed.
Gshd srt decoders: this includes gs6hd, gs5hd mini. you need to sometimes connect to the internet or download new software to reopen blocked powervu channels most times.
Qsat q26g and q28g also automatically opens powervu channels once you have loaded the powervu software. Unfortunately, the heat of frequent changes of sports hd 24 keys is too uch for qsat or let us say they do not care. so please do not expect you qsat to open sports 24. it will however open other powervu channels. To make the matter worse, no opetin to manually enter powervu keys on qsat.
Selected strong decoders: strong decoders were the first to expose us to this powervu stuff in Africa. Unfortunately they are not the least efficient in it because of two reasons; limited software for all strong mode, 2. no auto update function which means you must manually enter the keys.

Bein official hd decoders: Beinsports has one of the best sports packages worldwide. with around $30 monthly, you can watch the best of sports on your bein full hd decoder. pleaselearn more here.
Mytv Africa ent and movie packages: If you are a core movie lover, you can get all mbc hd channels on mytv africa package with a paltry sum of #800($5) monthly. this also includes local entertainment channels and news.
Others include: startimes for entertainment and sports news, Consat and so on.

WHAT ABOUT TOTAL FTA?

hmmmm, to be honest with you, total free to air satellite channel can hardly provide any relable sport event. At least not epl, bundesliga or Llaiga. You can get some fta channels that will show champions league, some also show some EPL matches at times. such fta channel can be found here.
