BEIN SPORTS HD CHANNELS SCRAMBLED, SATELLITE COMPANIES THAT OFFERS CHEAPER QUALITY PROGRAMS THAN DSTV

There are several happenings going on the satellite world. I came back home this evening and to my surprise, bein sports channels has been scrambled!!! You may asked why and how? For those that are into satellite world for long time, the multi-choice group known as Dstv reported West Africans to Bein sports 8 months ago and was removed from it networks.  The good thing is, MBC with 8 HD channels are still very much working for now.

1. BEINSPORTS PACKAGES AND WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IF YOU WANT TO GET IT OUTSIDE THE MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA

Bein is a satellite TV Company in Asia (just like multichoice Africa) that offers satellite tv broadcasting as well as premium iptv solutions to their subscribers. Their footprints exclusively covers “MENA” (middle east and north Africa: subscriptions are available exclusively in the Middle East and North African territories including: Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine (including the Gaza Strip and the West Bank), Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS News channels are free to view from around the world.  From the above, you can see that it is not supported in east Africa (because dstv covers east Africa) it is also not available for south and West African countries. This bores down to the fact that you cannot officially buy bein packages and use it in any other countries outside their coverage areas. However, necessity is the mother of invention, I will give you hints on how to buy and use beiNsports decoders legitimately outside MENA. To start with, let me take you through their packages which happens to be the best in terms of quality sports and movies channels.

They have only HD channels and their sports channels are from Beinsport 1HD to 16HD.

I asked someone who is currently using it and he told me that their full package cost just around $180 – $190 per year (this cost less than #3500 monthly when converted to Nigeria currency whereas we are currently paying #13,980 monthly for dstv premium) I also learn that you have options of monthly or annual recharge (of course if you want to use the product outside MENA, you ought to subscribe annually.

Note: You cannot get official rights to sell and distribute beinsports decoders in Nigeria and other countries not covered in their footprints. So basically you need to use this privately. DSTV covers east Africa, South Africa and West Africa. If you open a shop and start selling this decoders, dstv will report you to bein and the decoders will be deactivated. All am saying here is that if you are a poor Nigeria like, you can still get things cheaper. However, initial setup is expensive and may in most cases not be feasible for everyone who wishes to use it. Now let me take you through the advantages and disadvantages:

THE ADVANTAGES OF BEINSPORTS PACKAGES FOR THOSE OUTSIDE THEIR COVERAGE AREAS

• It offers the best of sports better than what you can get on dstv talk of basketball, cricket, tennis, soccer, everything is hot and fresh with little or no repetition
• It offers the best of movies
• It broadcast all its channels in full HD
• It is cheaper than dstv by a mile
•  

THE DISADVANTAGES OF BEINSPORTS PACKAGES FOR THOSE OUTSIDE THEIR COVERAGE AREA

• They broadcast predominantly in Arab since the areas they covers are majorly Arabian countries
• you need between 1meter dish to 4meter dish to be able to track their signal(In most eastern Africa countries like Uganda, you can track bein with 90cm dish)
• You need to have a contact in UAE or any country in MENA who will help you with the activation of the decoder before sending it to you.
• All the local channels on it will make no sense to anyone who doesn’t understand Arabic, same way our local channels on dstv packages will make no sense to them
• Initial huge capital-outlay to set up. If you are in Northern Nigeria, you can track the channels with 2.4meter dish and above but if you are in southern Nigeria, you won’t be able to get their full channels unless you use 4meter dish in most cases.
• Fewer channels compared to dstv bein’s major concentration is on movies and sports.
• The space where you will install a 4meter dish for example may prove to be militating factor to you especially if you are a tenant.
• You can’t get any of their dealers outside the zone they don’t cover. This means you won’t get customer supports directly from bein.
• You will still have to combine this with dstv especially if you want to watch local channels like gtv, channels, stv, ktn….

HOW TO USE BEINS IN A COUNTRY WHERE YOU DON’T HAVE THEIR OFFICE

1. Call your very experience and professional satellite installer and tell him to give you the minimum size of dish you need to have in other to get beinsports on the following frequencies only(note to use bein official decoder, you need to track their channels on the two frequencies only): Nilesat (7° W)or    Es’hailSat (25.5° E)  more details about the specific frequencies and symbol rates is shown in the picture below:

When your installer has determined the size of dish to be used in your own part of the country(e.g. in the south you need at least a 4meter dish to get the full bein channels while in the north, you can make do with 3 meter dish. In most Easter African countries like Uganda, Kenya. You may even use a 1 meter dish) Please don’t use your discretion call a qualified satellite installer. Your installer will do the tracking
4. If you are able to scale through step 3 above, then you can proceed as long as you are ready to spend. Next is for you to look for a contact in gatar / Dubai or any of the countries listed under MENA.
5. Give the person the money to help you buy and activate the decoder before sending it back to you in Nigeria.
6. That all that you need to do enjoy your bein sports and fox TV from the comfort of your home.

NOTE: A dish with the size of 3 meters and above cost as much as N50,000 to N80,000 and above depending on the quality. The price increases buy quality and size. The number of channels receivable also vary with the size of the dish. The beinsport decoder preloaded with one year account can also cost like $300+ but the year subscription when you want to resubscribe after a year is around $190. This is something you can enjoy indefinitely i mean you only stop enjoying it when you refused to subscribe. This is no hack and it is no cheat. But please don’t commercialize this or else, dstv will ask bein to block it like they did with their SD channels 8 months ago.
