was introduced. However this is a feature that
has escaped the iOS version of the app, but not
anymore.
The company has announced that starting from
today, iOS users will be able to live stream
directly from their iOS devices. This will not
require users to download a separate app or use
another service as the live streaming
capabilities will be baked into the YouTube app
itself, and all users have to do is press the
button and they’re good to go.
According to YouTube, “YouTube mobile live
streaming will be baked right into the core
YouTube mobile app. You won’t need to open
anything else, just hit the big red capture button
right there in the corner, take or select a photo
to use as a thumbnail, and you can broadcast
live to your fans and chat in near real time.”

In addition and since it is baked into the app,
users will be able to expect the usual features
from the app, such as searching for videos,
recommendations, playlists, and so on. The
update should be like so do check it out and
update your app if you haven’t done so already.
