President Buhari welcoming President Francois
Hollande of France to Abuja, Nigeria’s federal
capital, for the security summit.
President Muhammadu Buhari has on Saturday,
May 14, received his French counterpart,
Francois Hollande for a security summit in
Nigeria.
President Hollande of France who hosted the first
regional security summit in Paris on May 17,
2014, will be joined by the presidents of
Cameroon, Niger Republic, Chad and Benin
Republic.

Recall that the Nigerian president just returned
from London where he participated in the
international anti-corruption summit alongside
other world leaders.
Before his departure, President Buhari addressed
journalists on his assessment of the fight against
corruption, insecurity and how he discovered the
padding of the 2016 budget.
He stated that if he had not discovered the
padding of the budget, corruption would have
crept into that 2016 budget, blaming it on
technocrats
