President Muhammadu Buhari held a closed door meeting with the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday, January 11.

The meeting which held at the First Lady’s Conference Hall in the Presidential Villa, Abuja started at about 8:20pm with the arrival of Buhari and the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, This Day reports.

Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the national chairman of the party led the APC chiefs to the meeting.
Also in attendance were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachi David Lawal; the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, among others.
The deputy chairman of the party, Lawani Shuaibu, the zonal chairman, Chief Segun Oni, were among the NWC members at the meeting.
The meeting is expected to take a position on the just-concluded Bayelsa state governorship election among others.
