Justice John Itsoho of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered that Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenious People of Biafra, who has been in the custody of the Department of State Security Service since October 14th last year, be sent to Kuje prison in Abuja immediately.
The order was given at a resumed hearing of the treasonable charges the Federal government filed against him today January 20th. His lawyer actually asked that Nnamdi should be sent to prison as it was difficult for his legal team and friends to talk to him while he was in DSS custody.
